One of my all-time favorite things about small, intimate wedding ceremonies is getting to spend quality time with my couples — especially in a place as scenic as Sapphire Point Overlook!
Shelby and Ross came to Colorado from Nebraska to said their vows with about thirty of their family members and friends, all with the Dillon Reservoir and the Rocky Mountains creating a stunning ceremony backdrop. They also brought their dog, Meika, who was the perfect “ring bearer” for the wedding and wore the cutest “Dog of the Bride” collar!
And if you’re a hiker like these two, you’ll love that both Shelby and Ross wore their hiking boots as their wedding-day shoes! Their proposal even occurred on a waterfall hike in Washington, which sounds absolutely dreamy! Just wait until you see her ring — it’s definitely one of my all-time favorites so far.
Despite the day being a bit chilly and windy, we all made the best of it. I love that the clouds and rain created some “drama” that helped create some beautiful moody images that definitely belong on mounted wall prints.
