One thing I know for sure is that getting up bright and early before the sunrise is often beyond worth it. Natasha and Travis’ mountaintop wedding is the perfect example of this!
We met up at the summit of Mount Evans for their small wedding ceremony — and it was both windy and cold! Luckily, we found a spot behind some large rocks that helped to block some of the wind and watched as these two said their vows around 5:45 am. I’m pretty sure all of us had numb fingers and noses by the time the ceremony ended, but it was worth it!
We took some time stopping at various points as we drove back down from the summit, and caught some stunning colors and scenery as the sun came up over the horizon. Then we wrapped up at one of my favorite spots near the Mount Evans summit: Mount Goliath Natural Area. This was definitely a wedding to remember for years to come and the perfect way to start the day! <3
