I still can’t believe it’s already 2019 . . . and I still have a handful of weddings I haven’t yet had the chance to share with you all from 2018! Allison and Ian’s wedding was hands-down one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve had the opportunity to capture, and it all came together at Mile High Station near downtown Denver.
Allison and Ian now live in New Orleans, but they both are originally from Colorado and have family and friends from all over the US — making Colorado a great centralized place for their big day. Allie picked out a stunning wedding dress that was modern, simple, and elegant. It reminded me of the style so many raved about for Meghan Markle‘s own wedding dress!
Their indoor ceremony was candle-lit down the aisle with a greenery arch that stood out against the red brick walls of Mile High Station. Having only candlelight was really challenging for photography, but the results were also out of this world gorgeous. The candlelights reflected on the tile floor in the venue space, giving the whole ceremony an extremely romantic and vintage style I just love!
For their first look, we met up on one of the bridges downtown, since the venue was so close by to the heart of Denver. The urban setting was the perfect backdrop for a modern wedding!
I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their big day!
